Mr. Grillo
has worked on 36 waste-to-energy facilities in the US, and has administered the on-site QRO exam for candidates at an additional
31 facilities. Mr. Grillo's
primary areas of expertise are performance testing and optimization of plant operation. He has been responsible for various
aspects of performance testing for over 25 resource recovery facilities, including one wood-fired power plant and one medical
waste-to-energy facility. In 2014, Mr. Grillo received the ASME/IT3 Pioneer Award.
